of counting from Bhawanipur seat in West Bengal. Not only this, TMC also has

am. About an hour after the start of the counting, the initial trends will also
start showing. This time more than 57 percent voting has been done in
Bhawanipur assembly constituency.
-Bhawanipur
is an assembly constituency in Kolkata and is considered a Trinamool Congress
stronghold. This is the reason why Mamata Banerjee chose this seat after losing
from Nandigram. 24 companies of central forces have been deployed for the
counting of votes. The counting center is fully equipped with CCTV cameras.
Voting
percentage was normal in the by-election to Bhawanipur assembly seat in West
Bengal on 30 September. A senior Election Commission official said that in the
by-election held on Thursday in Bhawanipur assembly constituency, more than 57

contesting from this constituency.
In
Bhawanipur seat, Trinamool Congress supremo Banerjee is pitted against Priyanka
Tibrewal of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shrijeev Biswas of the CPI(M).
Mamata, who lost from Nandigram constituency in the assembly elections held
earlier this year, has to win this bypoll to retain the post of chief minister.
The counting of votes will take place today i.e. on October 3.
