The corona virus has once again infiltrated the IPL (IPL 2021). Sunrisers Hyderabad's (SRH) left-arm fast bowler T Natrajan's Corona Positive tested positive.
Dubai, September 22: The tournament was postponed in May due to Corona's inclusion in the first round of IPL 2021. The second round of IPL 2021 started in the UAE on September 19, but only after the third match, the corona virus has infiltrated the IPL once again. Sunrisers Hyderabad's (SRH) left-arm fast bowler T Natrajan's Corona Positive tested positive. Natarajan tested positive for RT-PCR and showed no signs of corona. Along with Natarajan, six others who came in contact with him have also been kept in isolation. They include Vijay Shankar, team manager Vijay Kumar, physio Shyam Sundar J, team doctor Anjana Vannan, logistics manager Tushar Khedkar and net bowler Periyasamy Ganesan.
Corona re-enters IPL 2021! Infection of SRH player
The other members of Sunrisers Hyderabad also underwent RT-PCR test at 5 am today, but all the reports were fortunately negative. Therefore, this evening's match between Hyderabad and Delhi will start on time, the IPL has said.
Earlier, Corona was also included in Team India's India tour of England. Team India head coach Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun and fielding coach R Sridhar tested positive for corona.
